Wow, spacial clarity, vibrant highs and mids, just good enough lows (not obnoxious lows), but just right. My mp3′s came to life and is much more enjoyable. I’ve owned a few Bose headphones, I would truthfully say these are on par, if not better especially for 54 bucks. I’ve owned Grado’s SR80 and SR225i, these are WAY better. And then I think about the price, I can’t believe it. What a deal.
With that said, I’m NOT using the included USB Dolby dongle, and I don’t intend to unless I use these with my laptop. Instead, I have it hooked up with the HT Omega Claro Plus sound card with Dolby Virtual 7.1 enabled. I’m blown away by the quality of sound.
